CINDERELLA TOURNAMENT 2026 PREVIEW

WHAT IS IT?

The Cinderella Tournament is STARDOM's single-elimination knockout tournament that normally takes place around Spring time (May - April). There will be 32 wrestlers in participation this year varying in experience compared to last year's focus on lower-card talent. The tourney will be spread out into 5 days beginning tonight (March 6) in Chunichi Hall until the finals on the 15th in Yokohama Budokan where the sole winner will be granted a "wish" (usually a title shot) while wearing a Cinderella-like dress. Let's now go over the rules.

RULES

• Each match will be fought one-on-one
• 1st & 2nd round matches will have a 15 minute time limit. The finals will have no time limit
• Over the top rope eliminations will be valid for all matches
• Matches that result in a draw (with the exception of the grand final) will eliminate both participants

  • March 6 (Friday, 7PM JST) - Chunichi Hall (Nagoya, Aichi)
  • March 7 (Saturday, 1:30PM JST) - Chunichi Hall (Nagoya, Aichi)
• 2nd Round
  • March 8 (Sunday) - Korakuen Hall (Bunkyō, Tokyo)
• Quarterfinals
  • March 11 (Wednesday) - Korakuen Hall (Bunkyō, Tokyo)
• Semifinals & Grand Final
  • March 15 (Sunday) - Yokohama Budokan (Yokohama, Kanagawa)

According to the streaming schedule on STARDOM WORLD, all of the days except the final day will be live on the service. The final day will be available as a live pay-per-view. Details for the PPV are not available as of right now, so stay tuned on their website for announcements.
